About Jonathan
Jonathan studied Medicine at Cambridge and Oxford Universities prior to serving with the Royal Army Medical Corps.
After completing his orthopaedic training, he specialised in Hip and Knee Surgery on fellowships at North Shore Hospital, Auckland and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore.​
Jonathan has a keen interest in research and teaching. He has published widely in a number of peer-reviewed orthopaedic journals on hip, knee and trauma surgery including key papers on preventing infection in joint replacement surgery.
Jonathan has presented his work nationally and internationally. He continues to enjoy teaching the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons and runs a course on peri-prosthetic fracture management with a charity called Orthopaedic Research UK (ORUK).
